Jinqiang International Competition Center, with a total construction area of 162,200 ㎡, includes 14,000 large first-class gymnasiums, 42,000 ㎡ supporting businesses and 45,000 ㎡ underground parking lots. As one of the main venues of the 2021 Summer Universiade, it is the first NBA-level professional basketball stadium in Sichuan and one of the landmark buildings in Chengdu.

Acoustic analysis
Born for the "ultimate experience", as the first NBA-level professional basketball stadium in Sichuan, the sound environment construction of this project conforms to the first-class international acoustic index of the stadium, and the sound construction technology and materials adopted are top-notch, which can provide good sound field quality effects for various international sports events.
Acoustics problems need to be considered in the acoustic design of professional basketball competition venues, such as the loud noise generated by athletes during the competition, the sensational sound of tens of thousands of spectators cheering together, the low-frequency noise mixed with words in the audience, and the hum of mechanical equipment such as electric sound, lighting and air conditioning.
If we don't do acoustic treatment or improper treatment, these sounds will form a primary reflection and a secondary reflection echo in space, which will seriously interfere with the athletes' play, affect the fair judgment of the referee and the audience's watching experience. Therefore, it is particularly important to do a good job of sound absorption and control the reverberation time of stadiums and gymnasiums within 1.3~2.1 seconds.

Matching the quality positioning required by the international level of NBA in the venue, the customer compared the density of product samples of various bidding companies and the meticulous degree of process treatment, and resolutely chose WINEGO for cooperation. A-class MGO grooved acoustic panel are laid on a large area to absorb sound in places within the venue, such as river blocking, ring screens, passages and cat holes, supplemented by A-class fireproof decorative panel and wood cuttings of the same color and material, so as to maintain the unity of the venue decoration effect.
